Steve Bodow

Steve Bodow is Executive Producer and former Head Writer of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Since joining the show in 2002, he has won 11 primetime Emmys and a Peabody Award. Bodow is also co-creator/EP of the game show Werewolf (pilot, Fox), and a past artistic director of Elevator Repair Service Theater, the New York company best known for Gatz, its full-text staging of The Great Gatsby. That production has toured more than 20 cities internationally. In print, Bodow was a writer and editor on The Daily Show's two best-selling books, America: The Book and Earth: The Book; as a journalist and columnist he has written for The New York Times, Wired, New York Magazine and many other publications. Bodow earned his BA in Art History from Yale and a master's degree in digital media from NYU. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.
